The Weight Loss Maze

Fitness has become popular and so has the products and services out there. In America there are diet pills, weight loss gadgets, all sorts of gyms, articles, books and so on. I admit it is getting to be a maze of weight loss and it is my desire that YOU do not get lost in the middle.

Lets discuss some myths about LONG TERM WEIGHT LOSS

Myth: Lots of cardiovascular exercise is the easiest solution for long term weight loss.

Truth: Weight training is a key component to long term weight loss that is becoming more and more popular.

Myth: It takes lots of time in the gym to lose weight

Truth: Workouts can be as short as fifteen minutes but what is important is gradually but continually increasing intensity levels.

Myth: Eating less is the answer to long term weight loss.

Truth: The truth is that the body needs fuel to build muscle, lose fat, and get the lean body you want. America is obsessed with yo/yo dieting and I am convinced it is one of the reasons for the obesity epidemic.

There are so many contradicting ideas. Look for social support and look for those that are always at a good weight. Find the right professionals and you can reach your weight goals for life.
